Characteristics of the Vanina from Podowell

This orthopedic shoe for women is available in ecru color and in sizes 2,5 UK - 4W US to 8 UK - 9,5W 8,5M US.

This shoe respects your bunion and avoids all the pain due to this pathology.

One of the main quality of this shoe is its lightness. It will allow you to walk for a long time without feeling any fatigue.

These orthopedic shoes have maximum space to accommodate a very swollen, diabetic or recently operated foot. This corresponds to a K or M width. It can accommodate wide or very wide feet.

The front is made of stretchy materials. The volume is therefore variable and evolutionary, which allows to adapt to a foot that would tend to swell during the day.

The front is slightly stretchy to relieve your toe deformities and ensure great comfort and limit painful friction. The material will automatically adjust to the shape of your foot.

The Velcro strap is elasticized for easy adjustment without compressing the instep.

For better stability, the counter-back supports the rear foot.

The quilted collar at the top of the upper provides comfortable support even with a swollen ankle.

Top :

  • The shoe is made of leather which allows to have a flexible product, but with a good support of the foot.
  • Self-fashioning stretch fabric area in the big toe that will conform to your bunion and dramatically reduce friction and pain. There is also a stretch area in the 5ᵉ toe for quintus varus type deviations.

Lining :

  • The inner lining is anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, anti-odor and hypoallergenic. This Onsteam® lining, which is the result of technological research, allows absorption and elimination of perspiration. So your feet stay dry no matter what the weather.

To protect sensitive feet, the manufacturing was made without protruding seams on the forefoot. This considerably reduces friction with the upper of the shoe and protects the feet from irritation.

Made of microfiber with a shock absorbing foam, the comfort insole allows a good evacuation of perspiration and a good air circulation thanks to its perforations. For impeccable hygiene, it has undergone an antibacterial treatment.

The insoles are removable and can be removed and replaced with orthopedic insoles.

Walk in complete tranquility with this outsole made of polyurethane. A very light, shock-absorbing, non-slip and flexible material.

The outsole is designed to allow for better stability when walking with its greater nesting width.

The design of the sole has been studied to avoid slipping. There are two anti-slip pads in the support zones, but the foot is not blocked thanks to the contour.

The stitching all around the sole allows a better resistance over time.

The heel height is 15 mm.

Instructions for use

You can adjust the volume of the shoe by leaving or removing the insole.

Maintenance tips

Dust off the leather, apply a shoe polish evenly and let dry. You can then polish with a soft cloth.

The stretch can be cleaned with a damp cloth.

The insole is hand washable at 30 °C.
