Modern and discreet, the Simona shoe is designed with very stretchy materials that adapt to foot deformities (claw or hammer toes, edema). Leather pieces provide additional protection and support for the toes, heel and ankle, which are also protected and supported by a padded upper edge. Elasticated hook-and-loop strap allows for easy and comfortable adjustment to foot size. The Onsteam® lining has a thermoregulatory and anti-humidity effect for maximum hygiene and comfort.

Characteristics of the Simona from Podowell
This comfortable shoe for women is available in taupe colour and in sizes 2,5 UK - 4W US to 8 UK - 9,5W 8,5M US.
This shoe respects your sensitive feet and avoids all pain related to footwear.
These comfortable shoes have more volume to preserve fragile, painful, swollen or deformed feet. The greater than normal width will help relieve your metatarsalgia by not compressing your toes laterally. This corresponds to an H or J width. It can accommodate wide feet as well as standard feet.
The volume at the forefoot is variable thanks to the stretchy materials. This allows to give the necessary ease to a tired foot that takes volume at the end of the day.
To avoid pain due to toe deformities such as hammertoes or hallux valgus, there is a stretch on the forefoot to protect the sensitive areas of your feet.
The closure is done with a Velcro. This type of closure makes it easier and faster to put on the shoes than with a lace-up shoe and also easily adjusts the footwear volume. There is also an elastic band to give more comfort to painful feet.
The stability of the hindfoot is ensured by a good holding buttress at the back of the shoe. This is ideal for unstable feet.
To avoid discomfort and injury there is a flexible foam bead at the top of the upper.
Top :
- Synthetic textile. This type of textile allows for a very light and flexible shoe that will not attack your sensitive feet.
- Self-shaping stretch fabric area on top of the foot that will adapt to your toe claws and significantly reduce friction and pain.
To protect your toes, the shoe has a protective strip on the front. This type of protection will also contribute to make the shoe more resistant.
Lining :
- The Onsteam® "High-tech" lining helps keep feet dry in all weathers thanks to maximum absorption and elimination of perspiration and a thermoregulation effect. It is an anti-microbial and antibacterial, anti-odour and hypoallergenic treated lining.
Textiles are particularly sensitive to hygiene problems (bad odours due to sweat or mould). The Sanitized antimicrobial durably prevents the growth of bacteria, yeasts and fungi and therefore protects the shoe in a safe and lasting way.
To protect sensitive feet, the manufacturing was made without protruding seams on the forefoot. This considerably reduces friction with the upper of the shoe and protects the feet from irritation.
The insole is ventilated leather and mounted on foam for more comfort
The insoles are removable and can be removed and replaced with orthopaedic insoles.
The outer sole is made of polyurethane. You can walk in complete safety with this ultra-light, flexible, shock-absorbing and non-slip sole.
The wide casing allows better stability when walking.
The sole is sewn all the way around for more resistance.
The heel height is 30 mm.
Instructions for use
You can adjust the volume of the shoe by leaving or removing the insole.
Maintenance tips
The fabric is hand washable or machine washable at 30 °C. Allow to dry in the open air.
The stretch can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Clean the insoles with a damp cloth and allow to air dry.
Choice of size
Simona shoes of the brand Podowell fit normally. We therefore advise you to choose your usual size.
