Characteristics of the Athos from Podowell
This orthopaedic slipper for women and men is available in black colour and in sizes 3,5 UK - 5W US to 13 UK - 13,5M US.
This slipper with a guaranteed great comfort brings a minimum of stress for the most sensitive feet.
These orthopaedic slippers have maximum space to accommodate a very swollen, diabetic or recently operated foot. This corresponds to a K or M width. It can accommodate wide or very wide feet.
There is a very large opening allowing easy entry. This type of opening is particularly suitable for painful or poorly mobile feet.
The closure is done with two Velcros. This type of closure makes it possible to put on the shoes easily and faster than with a lace-up shoe and also easily adjust the footwear volume.
The heel is maintained without too much pressure thanks to a light buttress at the back of the shoe.
Top :
- Resistant and easily washable textile upper. This type of fabric keeps the feet warm.
Lining :
- The synthetic textile lining used in the manufacture of the shoe allows to obtain a breathable and extremely light shoe.
Textiles are particularly sensitive to hygiene problems (bad odours due to sweat or mould). The Sanitized antimicrobial durably prevents the growth of bacteria, yeasts and fungi and therefore protects the shoe in a safe and lasting way.
There are no protruding internal seams, which prevents conflicts between the foot and the shoe and thus friction and irritation.

The shoes are adapted to orthopaedic insoles thanks to the removable insoles that you can easily remove.

Athos slippers of the brand Podowell fit normally. We therefore advise you to choose your usual size.
