This shoe is a prophylactic shoe developed by Finn Comfort in collaboration with doctors and orthopedic technicians after extensive research. It considerably reduces pressure on sensitive feet.
These diabetic shoes have maximum space to accommodate a very swollen, diabetic or recently operated foot. This corresponds to a K or M width. It can accommodate wide or very wide feet.
The front of the shoe ensures an optimal support of the foot which allows to have a better stability.
The forefoot features generous volume for maximum comfort and no firm toe box to prevent toe injury.
The closure is done with two Velcros. This type of closure makes it possible to put on the shoes easily and faster than with a lace-up shoe and also easily adjust the footwear volume.

To protect sensitive feet, the manufacturing was made without protruding seams on the forefoot. This considerably reduces friction with the upper of the shoe and protects the feet from irritation.
The fully padded forefoot prevents pressure points. The tongue is also padded to relieve the instep area. There is also extra padding around the ankle to prevent rubbing and ensure good ankle support.
Find the super footbed from Finn Comfort that provides a natural foot roll. The comfort insole stimulates the foot muscles and toes. This insole is made of non-deformable cork/latex. The vegetable-tanned leather insole is particularly suitable for sensitive feet. There is an additional layer of latex foam for a soft and super comfortable fit. Finally, the anatomical arch and heel cup will ensure perfect foot stability.
The insoles are removable and can be removed and replaced with orthopedic insoles.
The lightweight outsole is made with a high quality rubber and PU assembly. This combination allows for a very durable sole and provides flexibility and shock absorption qualities.
The wide casing allows better stability when walking.
The assembly of the outsole and the upper of the shoe is made by welding which gives a better resistance to water penetration.
The heel height is 12 mm.
Instructions for use
You can adjust the volume of the shoe by leaving or removing the insole.
Maintenance tips
Dust off the leather, apply a shoe polish evenly and let dry. You can then polish with a soft cloth.
Clean the insoles by hand at 30 °C. Let them air dry. It is advisable to take them out at night to ventilate them.
